Hello hello, and happy Friday! This week I've discovered my Etsy shop/seller page has this nifty new section called "about". I've been ignoring it for weeks now, but on a whim I clicked on it. I'm so pleasantly surprised! You get to picture yourself and members of your team with a short bio. There's a "story" section where you can write about your process, a day-in-the-life scenario, how you got started, or whatever tickles your fancy. And to top it all off, you can have up to 5 photos rotating up top with short captions. So cool! I read a sample "about" and loved the snippet view it gave me into the artist's lives. I'm sure the description (poetically) described something that was all too familiar to them. But for the reader, it takes the mundane and usual, and presents it to the world making it seem all brand new and sparkly.
