Tablets Are Back!

Last week (or was it the before that?)  I dug through my supplies and found my padding compound.  If you're wondering what "padding compound" is, I was in your shoes just about two years ago!  Padding compound is the thin gooey, almost rubbery liquid that is used to bind together most notepads.  Melissa Severson of Sweet Funky Vintage introduced the substance to me, gave me her bottle, and thus began my experimenting!
Since I never know when I'm going to be needing a scrap of paper, I decided that I wanted to create something that I could keep in my purse for those unexpected occasions.  Taking my cue from my journals, I knew I wanted something where each page would be fun and different from the one before and after it.  The one I keep in my purse has kept me smitten!  "Oh look, a recipe--let me write that down!"  "Your gate code is what?  Let me write that down."  "What is it that I'll need to get at Trader Joe's--I nee to make a list."  "That idea looks interesting, lemme make a note of that."
Even though these little guys are about half the size of a journal, I still have a fun time working on the cover.  A little splash of color here, a stripe there, and voilla--a happy tablet raring to go!  I'll be offering these in my Etsy shop in the next few days.  Stock up!  Buy 'em for friends!  Get'em for Christmas gifts!  Brainstorm an epic novel!  Make grocery lists!  So many great ways to use them, how could you possibly resist?!
