Friday Heel Clicks

A few days ago I was lamenting--once again--my lack of camera.  As goofy as it sounds, I scan all my journals and products to upload on my Etsy page.  I suppose that works okay, you can definitely see what the covers look like.  But what about the insides?  The interior pages are important to me, so much so that in large part that's why I started designing my own journals.  A lovely cover only does so much for me.  But something with some grids, lots of different quotes, something new and different each page...delightful!  Believe me, if the interiors weren't such a big deal to me, I'd be at Target buying composition books for el cheapo.
I get such a favorable response from people who use my journals, so I know I'm not alone on my interior preferences!  Getting images of the pages became something I started to brainstorm.  I tried scanning in some of my tablet pages, just for kicks.  (And mainly because that's the resource I have!)  How'd that work out for me, you ask?  Oh mercy, the only kind thing I can say is that those images were better than nothing.  Barely.  That's about where my lamenting began.  Then I had an idea--I have a creative friend with both a camera and a journal--maybe she would be able to make my dreams come true!
Rachael was such a dear and shot some photos for me yesterday when she could have been out shopping.  The sacrifice.  The generosity!  The kindness!!  I squealed when I saw the album she posted (well, internally.  I was in Barnes & Noble when I viewed the images, and I would have hated to interrupt people's reading and conversations...).  Yesterday I busily went about updating my Etsy shop, sliding in Rachael's photos so viewers could see not just the covers, but the insides, too.  Oh Happy Heel Clicks!  So now when you see a jotter like the one below, you'll have a better idea of what the whole product is like.  Yay!
