This morning I'm getting to savor some downtime! Flow: Magazine for Paper Lovers, a quad espresso macchiato (extra foam please!), a note, and a bill. The bill isn't exciting, can't say as though I'm savoring that...but hey, I do happen to enjoy driving around in my car, so paying that registration fee keeps me happy. That's one of those "ugly-beautiful" author Ann Voskamp writes about. I think about that phrase when I'm tempted to complain about something. I have life so good in comparison to so many in this world. When something starts to irritate me, I take a moment to ask 'where is the beauty in this ugly?' I have to say, it very much adds to my quality of life when I can find the blessings to appreciate!
