Excitement In the Atelier!

     In the last week of September I saw a notice in the local paper asking for submissions for the annual Gift Guide.  The newspaper selects 10-14 artisans to publish.  Two weeks ago I was notified that I had been selected, and would I like to drop off some of my items for photographing?  Heck yes, I would!  So I did!
     I've been wondering what the guide would look like, and nervous about how the photos of my work would turn out...  Yesterday morning all bright and early (while baking Thanksgiving quiche) all my anticipations were answered.  This is what went out to the readers of the Springfield News Leader--wheeee!  It's always a little interesting to see what someone else will write about you, and what their impressions are.
     I'm so thrilled to be chosen and to have my work promoted throughout the Ozarks region.  Much to be thankful for this season!

Excitement on the Horizon!

     Yesterday I had a wonderful surprise--a phone call from my local newspaper.  I'm going to have my goodies featured in the paper next month!  I'm SO EXCITED!  My journals, notebooks, and calendars will be part of a Holiday Gift Guide comprised of a handful of local creators.  I'm honored to be chosen, and now I'm faced with the tough decision of what to turn in for a photo shoot!!!  It's rough, isn't it?  *Grin*
     I'll be sure to provide more details as the publication date gets closer.  In the meantime, feel free to picture me with a ridiculously happy smile on my face.  And I'd be all right if you wanted to join me in a heel click or two!
