Working Large

     This (super stellar photo from my computer camera-ha!) is a shot of genuine kidskin for my current project.  I'm working on a wedding guest book that will be 12" x 12" when I'm done.  Finding a piece of suitable leather that large took a little while, but I succeeded!  And the atelier has smelled amazing after its arrival.  Mmmm, leather....
     Offsetting that delicious smell has been the fragrance of acetone.  The studio smells like a nail boutique today since I did acetone transfers on 50 pieces of 12" x 24" paper yesterday.  I think I may have gotten a tiny bit...high...  Hard to say for sure, but I am oh-so-glad that part of the process is complete!  This afternoon will find me folding, marking, and stitching, and hopefully I'll have more photos soon.  (Yes, *amazing* photos from my computer--whoo hoo!)
