Much of the Midwest is covered in snow this week, which leaves so many opportunities to have fun around the house!
Growing up, one of my all-time favorite things to do on snow days was to curl up with a blanket and a good book. There is something delightful about a story and the way it engages your imagination.
Out here in [sunny!] SoCal, I'm not having any snow days, but I still have books in my hands this week. I'm wrapping up my last few journal orders. Journaling always makes me reflect on my own story and helps me process life's events. I have a whole collection of journals; some are filled and others are still blank. But there is always a sense of anticipation as I reach for a journal. They're records of my life and thoughts. The highs and the lows, and definitely the middles. They speak of those who love me, and whom I love. They have lists of the important, and lists of the humdrum. They hold my hurts and my joys. They tell my story.
How are you telling your story?
*Journals will be for sale in my shop soon and very soon!
